Fishing and Planting for a Healthy River Saturday 22 March 9am-12pm Fowler Reserve,

Penrith Council Bushcare team are partnering with OzFish for a morning by the river to learn the significance of sustainable fishing techniques for fish conservation and to plant trees along the Nepean River’s banks.

What we’ll be doing:

  • A fishing activity, including a casting demonstration and knot tying
  • Giveaways!
  • Planting native species
  • Enjoying a BBQ lunch after all the hard work’s done
